Purposes of the processing
Your personal data will be processed in for the purpose of fulfilling a contract with you or with a company that you represent, or in order to take steps at your request or the request of the company you represent prior to entering into a contract in accordance with Article 6 (1)(b) GDPR; for the purpose of fulfilling a legal obligation in accordance with Article 6 (1)(c) GDPR; or to protect our legitimate interests – including the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims, but also to carry out direct advertising – or those of a third party in accordance with Art 6 (1)(f) GDPR. Furthermore, data is processed for the administration of clients, files, suppliers and applicants.
Categories of personal data concerned
The data of our clients, of witnesses or other informants as well as of persons whose data must be handled in order to fulfil our mandate are processed. The following categories of data are processed: Name/company; profession; date of birth; registered office and address; company register data; contact data (telephone number, e-mail address etc); VAT-number; bank details; credit rating data; insolvency data; and land register data. If required for the fulfilment of the mandate, data on racial or ethical origin; political opinion; religious or ideological beliefs; union membership; sexual orientation and sexual life; as well as genetic, biometric data and health data may also be processed.
Categories of recipients of the personal data
Your data may be transferred to the following categories of recipients: Data processors; courts and authorities; opponents and their legal representatives in disputes with the data subject; experts; third-party providers and cooperation partners, such as banks, substitutes, correspondent law firms; tax advisors and auditing companies.
As far as necessary in the context of the fulfilment of a contract between you or the company you represent and us or in order to take steps at your request or the request of the company you represent prior to entering into a contract, your data may also be transferred to third parties in other countries. Since data is also transferred to the United States of America, we would like to point out that no adequacy decision of the European Commission exists for this third country. You can obtain a copy of the data protection guarantees from our data protection officer on request.
Time limits
Personal data will be stored for as long as is necessary to fulfil a contract or a legal obligation, such as a retention obligation, or to assert, assert or defend our legal claims or, in the case of your consent, until revoked by the data subject.
Your data subject rights
According to applicable data protection law, you have rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability and objection. To assert your rights, please contact office@grassner.com. Alternatively, you can contact the supervisory authority. In Austria, the Datenschutzbehörde (www.dsb.gv.at) is responsible for this.
